This is your first look at our latest topper for Bally's 1976 Captain Fantastic and the Dirt Brown Cowboy. This officially licensed topper (in partnership with Planetary Pinball) is being heralded as the world's first commercially available EM Topper, and you can be among the first to see it in-action at Pinball Expo 2024!
This project was developed in collaboration with Expo's own, Rob Berk, who's love for classic EM games served as inspiration in our decision to build this one-of-a-kind topper, and is our contribution to the show's stacked lineup of 40th-year-anniversary events. Featuring original artwork by Brad Albright, this topper will be on full display at the show and is available for public purchase now!
Production will be limited to batches of 25 units, with overall production volume based on demand. The first batch will begin production in December 2024 and ship in January 2025. More batches may be opened up with new shipping dates over time. Each Batch will be commemorated on custom badge plate and numbered for each batch.

Expertly crafted and designed to compliment the nostalgia of your Captain Fantastic machine, this topper is inspired directly by the game art and features warm lighting (customizable to cool lighting by request only). The topper is highlighted by a complimentary mirror finish and simple but distinct light shows tied directly the key moments in the game.
We’ll be at Pinball Expo 2024 in Chicago, October 17-19th. Come by our booth to see the topper in action.

Original artwork by Brad Albright. Mirror finish designed to match the backglass of the game.
Each topper will include a batch plate noting the Batch # and a hand written unit # within the batch.
Powered by an external power adapter, so as not to draw any power from your machine. Turns on when your machine turns on.
Attract mode light show tied to the “Game Over” insert in the backglass using optical light sensors. No splicing, cutting, or soldering required at any point of the installation.
Double Bonus green insert (original part sourced from Marco) lit when the double bonus insert is lit on the playfield.
Same Player Shoots again insert lit on the topper when the same insert is lit on the playfield.
Special topper lightshow when the 100,000 rollover insert on the backglass is lit.
3 additional topper lightshow options available to be tied to any playfield insert of your choice by simply zip tying the light sensor near the light of your choice.
Carefully designed mounting process, includes mounting bolts and screws screws, and a simple paper guide for drilling two 1/4” holes and inserting two-nuts for a very clean and permanent finish. For those uncomfortable with adding holes, the topper is heavy enough to sit on top of the machine with no drilling needed, 3M mounting squares included.

Availability, Production and Deposits
This product will be produced in batches of 25 based on demand. The first batch is limited to 25 deposits taken and will ship by the end of January 2025. Once those deposits are taken an ordered waitlist will be available.
A $100 deposit secures your order, and the balance is due when your product is ready for final packout and shipping (shipping within 10 business days of final payment). The shipping cost will vary by location, $40-$60 US, $100-$200 international.
