How Our Waitlist Works
We’ll track each waitlist signup in order of submission. Our waitlist list will include Pinside signups (DMs and forum posts), as well as requests directly to our email. Signups are part of the same list and are based on the time stamp of the request.
As new units are available we’ll release those in batches and they will be made available to waitlist signups as follows:
50% of the batch will be offered to the immediate next waitlist signups, in order of submission.
50% of the batch will be offered on a first come first serve. So this means you always have a chance on every new batch.
Regardless of how you were selected, you’ll have 48 hours to pay the deposit. If you decide to pass, you’ll be moved to the end of the waitlist and we will contact the next waitlist customer in order of priority (regardless of how the original customer was selected).
If you have questions about the waitlist or your spot on the waitlist, contact us here. Please note that we will not disclose your exact position on the waitlist, but can only confirm if you are on it and if you are part of the next batch.
Waitlist FAQ
I’m on the waitlist, what # am I?
We don’t have this info publicly available but you can contact us here and we’ll let you know where you fall and let you know if you are in the next batch (if the batch size has been decided).
I see people can buy on the website, but I’m on the waitlist!?! What’s up with that?
50% of each batch goes to the waitlist (in order of signup) and 50% are available for sale “first come, first serve” at a designated date and time. If you are on the waitlist you will be sent a heads-up the day before and 1 hour before the sale.
Why did you decide to make 50% available “first come, first serve”?
Long waitlists are no fun, even though they are a reality of limited products. We’ve never liked being on waitlists where you don’t have any chance of getting the product until your spot is up. So we decided (from the very beginning) to change things up and make 50% of each batch available for purchase for those who want to put in the work to show up and wait in line (so to speak).
Are only people on the waitlist allowed to order the “first come, first serve” units?
While really anyone who has the link can purchase, we do make the "first come, first serve” units a dedicated, unpublished link to give those who are actually on the list the best shot of getting a unit.
Are you ever going to change how the waitlist works?
Yes, we are always open to changing things up. We listen to your feedback so feel free to let us know what you think here.
